Tracey Lewis is a Partner at Leeds Law Firm and an experienced litigator specializing in employment litigation. Licensed to practice in Texas, New York, and New Jersey, Tracey represents employees and business clients in pre-litigation employment disputes as well as state and federal employment law cases.
Tracey has successfully represented hundreds of clients in employment and wrongful termination matters, including complex discrimination cases involving race, color, gender, age, disability, national origin, sexual orientation, and religion, along with retaliation claims such as FMLA retaliation and interference. She also handles Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) wage and hour matters, including overtime claims and collective actions.
In addition, Tracey has reviewed and negotiated hundreds of severance agreements, helping clients protect their rights and financial interests before signing. She is also committed to proactive legal advocacy and regularly advises clients before litigation arises. This includes counseling on employment-related issues such as lawful hiring and termination practices, anti-discrimination and harassment training, the creation and review of restrictive and non-competition agreements, and the development or revision of employee handbooks and workplace policy manuals.
